Your website is pretty, but ultimately not very usable. I could not find the swing away spare tire carrier on your website anywhere.

I recomend doing the duramax dual battery mod. Just buy the second OEM battery tray and it bolts right in. I have an isolator but its not really necessary if batteries are new/matched.

I did a lot of brake jobs, front bearing packing, tune ups, oil changes, and transmission services on those in the 70s. If you took good care of them they would not let you down.

Im building an 85 1/2 ton with barn doors i have an 85 donor truck with a tailgate i really prefer the barn doors because of issues with rhe tailgate windown not coming down and that makes it impossible to open the back but you did a real good job of describing available options and such with these trucks with the aftermarket being so strong in the squarebodies now your options are pretty much unlimited if you dont mind searching the web for what your looking for

So when you change your shocks to 5100 do you have to change your back springs to

For any off roading that 98% of us would ever do wouldnt require low range. Personally I have an 04 yukon with low range 4x4 but I wouldn't ever need it Personally because im not gonna purposely take my vehicle on any trails that are gonna potentially damage my vehicle. So I would be fine with a Denali. And would prefer it actually. But I do love my 04 Yukon

I have a 2001 3/4 suby 4wd, 130k mikes; I bought it for towing and all the ressons you mentioned plus a few you didnt: Bigger brakes, factory trans temp guage, factory engine oil cooler, bigger radiator(??), bigger alternator, 38 gallon tank (i think its actually 2 tanks)

How do these square body suburbans do on the highway? Can they cruise at 70mph no problem? I’ve been look at getting a manual one to daily. I’ve owned old cars so I’m no stranger to them but I’ve never had a square body suburban. Decided I’m going to replace my current suburban (2007) with a square body since mine needs a engine and trans now..

2003 with 260,000 and running strong in great shape. Wife needed a more economical vehicle to commute to work. Served us well for 20 years. Had to trade it in. 5.3 liter engine is a great one. We had a 1971 suburban when I was a kid to pull a travel trailer. Had a 400 cid engine. What a gas guzzler she was. Gas was less than a buck a gallon back then. Great trucks

I currently own a 94 GMC K1500 Suburban. I've also owned and '86. Both 350s. I used to run my electrical business out of one. Keeps tools safe and dry, plenty of room, great for camping, 4X4 for the muddy adobes and mountains here in CO, super reliable. '94 has G-80 rear gear (I just had to change at 260,000 miles) was super hard to find right one, but she's still my workhorse, although not my daily driver anymore. Interesting video.

the 5.3 with the 4l60 is definitely not the most reliable suburban. The engine is but the front diff is not reliable, the trans is not reliable, and even the rear diffs have bad pinion bearings. Ive rebuilt my trans twice.

Hey from Caddo Lake East Texas and Northwest Louisiana, great video on the different generations. I have a 04 LT 4wd 221,000 with sleeping platform in the back. My new is 2002 Z71 with 131,000. Keep up the great work and I hope you sell as many as you can buy and build out! Erv
